Violet Bernice Allen, 80, of Coal Hill, Arkansas, died on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. She was born on March 16, 1927, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Reverend Carl F. & Rosa B. Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church.
Violet is survived by three sons, Larry D. Fultz, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Sheridan, Arkansas, Jesse B. Fultz and his wife, Mary, of Ozark, Arkansas, and Randy Allen and wife, Mitzie, of Coal Hill, Arkansas; one sister, Thelma Vaughn of Lowell, Arkansas; twenty two grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, O.D. "Gig" Allen; one sister, Margaret Sanders; and two sons, David Fultz and Jerry Fultz.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2008. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the Fernwood Assembly of God Church in Hartman, Arkansas, with Reverend Eddie Birdsong officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Hill Cemetery, at Coal Hill, Arkansas.
Casket Bearers will be Larry Fultz, Jesse Fultz, Jesse Ryan Fultz, Randy Allen, Timmothy Fultz, and Kolton Allen.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Shawn Fultz, Larry D. Fultz, Jr., Gary L. Fultz, Jerry W. Fultz, Steven Barber, Randall Allen, David Chase Fultz, and Kristy Fultz.
