Serg. ‘Scotty’ MacKay, Local Youth, Killed Fighting With Canadians
Sergeant Norman Hugh MacKay of the Royal Canadian Air Force, son of A. I. MacKay of 831 East Main Street, was killed in action on Sept. 29, it was learned here today. The family received word of his death on Saturday.
MacKay, who has been in the service for one and one-half years, attended the local High School where he was known at “Scotty.”
