Stan Baney, 76, of Cabot, passed away unexpectedly from illness July 27, 2022, in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born January 20, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Franklin P. Baney and Edith Buchanan Baney.

Mr. Baney graduated from Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas in the class of 1964. After his high school graduation, he attended the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism in 1968. Mr. Baney went on to enjoy a 43-year career at Van Heusen, starting in 1968, as a warehouse manager in Brinkley, Arkansas, and retired in 2011.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He married Betty Killian on August 22, 1968, and the two were happily married almost 54 years. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are 10 children, Michelle Baney Wallace (Louis), Cindi Baney, Rebecca Ruby Baney Morales (Sergio), John A. Baney, Jennifer Baney Bass, Sarah Baney Nicholson, Katherine Baney Morris, Laura Baney Adams (Chris), Matthew Baney (Deonna) and Frank Baney, along with 20 grandchildren, Adri, Maria, Charles, Shelby, Mikaylah, Shelby Susanna, Yaritza, Kailyn, Codey, Leona, Jakob, Alhana, Clay, Aubree, Tate, Marilyn Rose, Scarlett, Jade, Gabe, and Payton.

A visitation, funeral service, and memorial celebration will be held privately for the family. Arrangements by Moore s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
