DIED--At Jensen, Uintah County, Utah, June 12, 1897, of heart failure, Mariah, beloved wife of J. H. Murray.
Mrs. Murray was born in Denmark January 3, 1846, joined the Mormon church in her native land and emigrated to Utah from Florence in the first hand car company and ever lived and died a fathful Latter-Day Saint. Mr. Murray and the family of nine children have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
The funeral services were held in the Millward Hall where the 200 or more assembled listened attentively to the consoling and impressive remarks from President Collett and Bishop Billings. The body was laid to rest in the Millward Cemetery.
Mr. Murray and family desire to return their sincere thanks to all who assisted in any way during the sickness and death of their loved one and especially to the sisters of the Millward Relief Society who so kindly draped the hall for the occasion as also preparing dinner for those who came with the corpse from Jensen, a journey of nearly twenty miles.

Karren Marie Neilsen married Jeremiah Hatch Murray February 6, 1863 in Spanish Fork, Utah.
They had nine children: Jeremiah Murray, Sarah Ellen Murray, Andrew Rich "Richard" Murray, William Riley Murray, Elizabeth Caroline Murray, Rebecca Murray, Stephen Robert Murray, Hyrum Smith Murray and Johnathan Moyes (Johnny) Murray.
