Real name is said to have been Villar Ackre, born about 1876. Henry Weller explains "Bill was an elderly Italian gentleman that lived with us for 5 or so years before he died. As he had no relatives, Mother (Lillian Bohna Weller) had him buried near where many of our immediate family was (buried). He came from Italy as a middle aged man and was about 65 when he died. The stone was originally a small flat back marker about 12" x 12" with the name Villar Ackre, 1941. Someone ran over it and broke it. It was replaced with the English translation of his name.
