Peleg's stone had fallen face down. William Huestis Boyce, his four greats grandson, flipped it back over. It was a very happy day for Mr. Boyce. He had been looking for this Tabor family plot for 20 years. He found the plot sometime in the 1990's. Peleg's 3rd wife was Mary Wordell Tabor 1747-1833.Peleg died 2 Jun 1802 in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. Peleg was the son of Philip Taber, b 4 Oct 1702, d 8 Mar 1763 and Phebe Brownell, b. 19 Jun 1708.

Two of Peleg's wives were his first cousins. Peleg's uncle William Taber was the father of Meribah and Hannah Taber, sisters.

Note:
Peleg left a will leaving his 'dear and loving wife' 1/3 of his personal property and interest, one riding beast, a saddle, and bridle. Sons Gershom and William named executors. Son Philip and daughters Elizabeth, Ruth, Meribah, Roba, Susanna, Phebe to be given 63 cents each if they demand it. Daughters Mary and Hannah to have their mother's (Mary Wordell) interest at her decease. Further, sons Gershom, William, John, George, Peleg, and Silas to share the remainder of Peleg's real and personal estate.
Noah Shaw to have charge of Peleg's sons until they are of age.
