FREDERICK ROBINSON PEAKE died in Tequesta, Florida of natural causes on November 1, 1998. Born in Racine. Wisconsin, the eldest son of William W. and Betty R. Peake, Robin spent his early life in Rye. NY He graduated from The Hotchkiss School, from Yale University, and Yale Law School (1938) and began a career with the Union Carbide Corporation. Robin was called to military service coming with the 186th Field Artillery. Robin attained the rank of Lt. Colonel and earned the Bronze Star. Following WWII, Robin resumed his legal career, living in Chicago and later in New York City and Polham, NY. Following his retirement, he moved to Tequesta. FL, while maintaining a summer home in East Dorset, VT. Besides his wife. Gertrude. Robin leaves two step-sons: Frederick and William Preston, two brothers; Cameron and David, and a sister.
