Misty L. White, 28, a resident of the Banks community, died Sunday evening, February 3, 2008 from injuries she received in an automobile accident in which her fiance and unborn son were also killed.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Union Point Cemetery, 41500 NW Banks Road in Banks, with Reverend Richard E. Osburn, retired United Church of Christ minister, officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
MISTY LYNNANN WHITE was born September 9, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the daughter of Lynn Robert White and Cory Elizabeth Reid. She was raised and received her education in the Las Vegas community. She was currently a student at the Western Culinary School in Portland.
She moved to Oregon about 2006, first settling in Bend and later to Portland. Misty had moved to Banks in November of 2007.
Among her interests, Misty enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn R. White; her fiancé, Martin J. "Marty" Arthur and her unborn son, Wyatt William.
Misty is survived by her mother, Cory Reid-Fisk of Las Vegas, Nevada; her son, Connor Reece White of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Erika Kuikahi-Valdez of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her grandparents, Beverly Johnson of Los Angeles, California and Jeff Reid of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The family suggests that remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program-F, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1905, in her memory.
