He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugie and Vadala Johnson Holifield.
He is survived by a sister, Kay Howell of Pollard; and brother, Jack Holifield of Conway.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Loy Culver officiating and burial in Cummin's Chapel Cemetery near Pollard. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will begin at 6 this evening.
Memorials may be made to the Hope Center of New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard.
