Otto Horace "Doc" Rogers
O. H. "Doc" Rogers, 77, of Palacios died at Wagner General Hospital in Palacios August 16, 1981. He was a resident of Palacios area for 37 years and his church affiliation was Baptist. Survivors include: daughters, Bettye Koontz of Palacios, Willa Koontz of Luling, La., Patricia Mayo of Fairfield, Kathryn Miller of Fort Walton [Beach], Florida, Rita Cowart of Bay City; sons, Donald Rogers of Baycliff, Marshall Rogers of Skidmore, Wayne Rogers of Manvel and Gary Rogers of Palacios; sisters, Jessie Hedrick, Fan Reedy and Bessie Base all of Anadarko, Okla.; 38 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Palacios Funeral Home today, August 18, at 2 p. m. with Rev. W. D. Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Arrangements with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home Palacios.
