Funeral services for Steve Adams, 65, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronny Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Adams was born November 8, 1957 in Coushatta, LA and passed away March 25, 2023. He worked most of his life in road construction. He also enjoyed tending to his cows and working on anything with a motor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschell and Janete Adams.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Wanda Gail Adams; seven children, Chasity Tousek and husband, Theron of Natchitoches, LA, Tanya Sullivan and husband, Chris of Black Lake, LA, Natasha Smith of Coushatta, LA, Tiffany Adams of Campti, LA, Micheal Adams and wife, Chrissy of Fairview Alpha, LA, Chris Adams and wife, McKenzie of Black Lake, LA, and Dillan Adams of Coushatta, LA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Layfield of Coushatta, LA; and lifelong friends, Don and Beverly Young and Wilbert Nelson.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Adams, Cody Sullivan, Weston Sullivan, Adam Jarnagin, Floyd Williams, and Dustin Halbmaier. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Young, Robert Giddings, and Theron Tousek.
