*S/o John H. & Rebecca Dunkle Wilson H/O Carol Bailey* Chester Laffyett Wilson,Wheeling, Died at 3:30 this morning at St.Lukes hospital in Kansas City, where he had been a patient for 26 days. He had been in failing health since Jan. Funneral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Wheeling United Methodist Church, with Rev.Phillip Neimeyer officating. The body will be move to the church at 1:00. The family will receive friends,Saturday evening from 7 to 8 pm at the Chapel of the Norman Funneral Home. Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was born March 1,1911 in Livingston Co,Mo.,Son of John Henry Wilson and Rebecca Dunkle Wilson. He attended Jacksnipe School. Aug.3,1934, he married Verna Carol Bailey at Galt,Mo. Mr. Wilson was a construction worker, and Living all over United States and moving back to Wheeling a year ago. Surviors include his wife of the home,a daughter Mrs.Marilyn Sue Rawdon Kansas City,3 brothers:Henry Wilson Buffalo Ia.,Hurbert Wilson Mannington W.Va.,Nathan Wilson Chillicothe Mo. 4 Sisters: Mrs.Gertrude Heaton, Mrs. Nellie Schuetz both of Wheeling,Mrs. Pauline Wagnor Denver Colo.,and Mrs. Leonda McCracken Jacksonville Fla., and 3 Grandchildren.
