Mrs. Hutto was born in Columbia, a daughter of the late A. Quay Dotson and Ozella Mims Dotson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher, choir member, pianist and member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Hutto was a former member of the Harleyville Book Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Pam Hutto Cummings of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Chris (Debi) Hutto of Harleyville; a sister, Harriette Crowell of Spencer, NC; and grandsons, Douglas Hutto of St. George, Jason Hutto of Goose Creek, and Curtis Hutto of Columbia.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Herbert William Dotson.
