Mr. Barron was born Feb. 5, 1897 in Bell County, TX. He was a retired butcher and former resident of Tulia for many years when he moved to the Rio Grande Valley where he co-owned a grocery store in Port Isabel. Earl died in Amarillo. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Tulia with the Rev. W. Neal Record, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Tulia. Mr. Barron is survived by his wife, one son, and four daughters.
