Pauline Burden, 81, of Baileyton, died Wednesday, March 5, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 20, 1926, to Andrew and Beulah Burks Bell. She was an elementary school teacher, having taught for 31 years: She taught music at Fairview High School and elementary education at Baileyton Junior High School for 26 years. She served her Lord by using her musical ability for over 60 years. She served as pianist at Baileyton United Methodist Church. She also played for various revivals, Bible schools and funerals during her lifetime.She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Howard Burden.Survivors include a son, Stanley (Jan) Burden; two grandchildren, Stacy Burden and Sarah Beth Burden; a sister-in-law, Willene Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
