Redding Byrd Parrish was the son of Ezekiel W Parrish and Martha C Wooten.

Redding was a soldier for the Confederacy in the Civil War. He fought with the Company K, 29th Regiment, Georgia Infantry. At the age of 18 he lost his life in battle.

Thanks to Charles Corbin, Jan 2018:
At the time of service, he was in Company D, which became Company K at reorganization May 7, 1862. According to unit records, he died of measles at Darien.
