Kenneth Wayne Shumate
Kenneth Wayne Shumate, 53, of 2244 Flanagan Station Road husband of Rosemary Hutchison Shumate, died at 4:20 a.m. Monday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.
A native of Clark County, he was the son of the late James Russell (J.R) and Gillie Marstella Shumate. He was a master technician at Toyota Motor Corp., Georgetown, and a member of First Church of God, Winchester.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Derrick and april Bishop, Winchester; a daughter, Erica Bishp, Clark County, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Bill Konstantopoulos. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Hutchinson, Ben LaFever, Derrick Bishop, Mike Snapp, Bill Shumate and Donnie Rogers.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
