Scott Hamson, merchant of Campville, was accidentally shot and killed by O. M. Tillman, representative of Alachua county, according to word received in Gainesville. The men were on a hunting trip near Campville, when Mr. Tillman's gun was discharged in some unaccountable manner, the entire charge entering Hemson's leg. The injured man was carried to Campville but died two hours later from loss of blood.
