William Arthur Bartley, 89, a longtime Wyandotte resident passed away at his home on Friday, March 24, 2023. Mr. Bartley was born on April 4, 1933 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Ollie and Geneva (Brown) Bartley. Mr. Bartley was a Veteran of the United States Army. On April 21, 1954 in Miami he joined in marriage with his love of sixty-eight years Deloras McElhany. William worked most all his life as a carpenter, he built many houses in the area, while keeping the family farm running. He loved going to church and singing, his hobby was working, he enjoyed his carpentry work. Mr. Bartley's top priority was always his family, he loved being with his family.

Mr. Bartley was preceded in passing by his parents Ollie and Geneva, along with siblings, Mary Sue Lankard, Vertie Barber, Ollie Bartley and Francis Bartley.

Those left to carry on William's Legacy are his wife Deloras Bartley of the home, a son, Sonny Bartley and his wife Sharon, his grandsons Chad Bartley and his wife Sharon Leeann, Brandon Bartley and his wife Jana, his great granddaughters Ally Bartley, Brylen Bartley, Alivia Bartley, Adilynn Bartley and Emrie Bartley all of Wyandotte, along with his siblings Juelene Ryals and her husband Arvin of Tahlequah, Roxie Smith and her husband Ike, of Anderson, Missouri, Bud Bartley and his wife Mary, of Oklahoma City, Sam Bartley and his wife Wanda, of Rome, Georgia, Solon Bartley and his wife Lynette of Wyandotte, along with many other relatives and friends.

There will be an open time of viewing on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Services for William will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Eastside Assembly of God with Reverend Larkin E. Enlow and Reverend Gary Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at the Council House Cemetery under the Care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
