Born in Upper Gravenhurst, and baptized on July 9, 1856 at St. Mary's Church in Lower Gravenhurst. She is the twin sister of Rosina Quenby, who is buried there. Hephziba and her sister Jennie Hare are probably buried together at St. Mary Gravenhurst, near their parents and grandparents, but the two sisters may also be buried nearby at St. Mary Henlow.
