Clifton was a farmer and worked for Murphy Family Ventures and loved to tend his garden. His specialties were collards and tomatoes. He also enjoyed arguing with his sister Ruby.
Clifton was predeceased by his father, Avery Lee Ball, Sr. and a sister, Glenda Ball Mills.
Survivors include his mother, Emma Lee Ball: sister, Ruby Ball Houston; brother, Avery Lee Ball, Jr and wife Sue. Survivors also include four nephews, Jordan Houston, Michael Whaley and wife Angela, Jason Ball and wife Holly, Joseph Ball and wife Stacey and three great nieces, Hannah Ball, Emma Ball, Ava Ball.
