Fallon Turley Gordon(7/21/36-3/18/23), preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary; parents Warren & Elizabeth Gordon, is survived by his 3 children.

(Captain of the football team, All Conference, captain basketball team All Conference, All Tournament; baseball, Student Affairs Council, Most Representative; Prefect.) UTAustin (All Southwest Conference Track & Field) and UTMB, Galveston with a General Surgery Residency; Head & Neck Surgery, MD Anderson; Brooks Army Hospital & the 2nd Surgical MASH unit, Viet Nam, where he helped to form the Chu Lai Medical Society, won the Army Commendation Award; had a large trauma practice & treated numerous tropical diseases like the Leper Colony at Phu Bai. After VN he returned to UTMB to do a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery residency; he worked with DeBakey's team, Methodist; helped initiate & develop the 1st Open Heart Surgical Program in Beaumont; formed a professional association & joined a practice there; was Chief of Surgery in hospitals, Chief of Staff in Beaumont; Regional Dir. of the AHA & joined state, national, & international societies; he also trained at Cooley's THI, Houston; also with Dr. Alain Carpentier, Hospital Broussais in Paris, France, Valvular Repair Technologies; was certified in Thorascopy & Laser surgery of blood vessels, bronchi, head & neck (UCLA & UTMB); received certification in endovascular techniques & stenting; then returned to private practice.
