Jerry Gilbert Williams 62 of Gladewater, Texas, died in his home with his beloved dog Lizzy by his side on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Born April 13,1960 to Horst Hartmann and Elfriede Muller in Mannheim Germany. Jerry was adopted by Clarence 'Tex' Lloyd Williams and Phyllis Lavon Herbert May 5, 1963. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1977, and soon after he married Joni Winward Kesler, who he remained close friends with throughout the years. Jerry was happiest with the freedom he had over the road, driving as an owner-operator and eventually for himself with Fantasy Enterprise. Jerry loved the ladies and they loved him back. He later fell in love with and Married Lisa Louise McNeil. Jerry always worked to provide everything he could for the loved ones who surrounded him. He was fiercely loyal, never wanted to be a burden to others, and fought for his independence every day of his life. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother Clarence Williams Jr. He was survived by his maternal aunt, Fern Harris; siblings, Christine Williams and Roy Hartmann; children, Jamie Lynn, Aaron Jones, Karrie Lee, Brandi LaRee and Breanna Lavon; his grandchildren, KarLee, Olivia, Nicolas, Joselyn, Austin, Kortney, Emma, Taycen and Crew; and great-grandchildren, Kenzleigh, HadLee and Hudson. Services to celebrate his life were held at Sulphur Creek Reservoir in Evanston, Wyoming on April 13, 2023. The celebration began with a Remembrance at 2:00 p.m., the casting ceremony was held from 4:15-5:15 p.m. at Eagle Point, and was concluded with a lantern release over the reservoir at 7:30 p.m.
