Raymond "Ray" Brandon Sr., 63, of Portia passed from this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born April 17, 1959, in Genesee, Michigan to Kenneth and Dorothy (Culhane) Brandon. He was the founder and former director of Jumpstart Ministries in Walnut Ridge. He was a member of People's Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie. Ray dedicated his life to helping people.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Brandon, Ron Brandon, Monty Brandon, Samuel Brandon, and Matthew Gorecki; sister, Deborah Colley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Becky of forty-one years of the home; sons, Sean Brandon-Davis (Christopher) of Eutaw, Alabama, Raymond Brandon Jr. (Lisa) of Portia, Chad Brandon (Elizabeth) of Hoxie; daughter, Brittany Stanfill (Edgar) of Alicia; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10 until 11 a.m. at People's Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Roger Brand officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Sean Brandon-Davis, Raymond Brandon Jr., Chad Brandon, Randy Brandon, Hunter Brandon, and Zach Stanfill.
