He appears to have died prior to in Indiana 1900, as the Federal Census lists her as being widowed, living in Elkhart, Indiana. Did not find them listed on the 1880 Fed. Census. Her obituary indicates she move to California in about 1925, when she was about 75, probably to be near 2 of her children.
