NEWTON, KAN. - Robert J. CHASE, 71, a former Perryton, Texas, resident, died Monday, July 31, 1995.

Services were in Newton. Burial was in Restlawn Gardens of Memory by Petersen's Funeral Home.

Mr. CHASE was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and lived in Perryton in the 1940s and early ‘50s. He moved to Newton about 1954. He married Rubena REIMER in 1948 at Goessel. He was a World War II veteran and was a retired tool designer and engineer at Boeing Military Aircraft. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William CHASE of Newton; four daughters, Roberta SCHROEDER and Carol HIEBERT, both of Newton, Debbie MARTENS of Inman and Jolene REED of Sterling; and 13 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the First Mennonite Church Caring Fund or Kansas Christian Home, c/o Petersen's Funeral Home.
