Mrs. Angeline Mc Kenzie Adams, 78, daughter of the late Authur McKenzie Sr. (d. 1979) and Sarah Grant McKenzie (d. 2003), entered into this world on 24 February 1942. She entered into eternal rest Sunday, 5 July 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was a native of Mims, Florida. Angeline moved to Syracuse, New York, 2 December 1952 with her mother, Sarah, and sister, Pauline.

Angeline graduated from Central Tech High School. She met the love of her life, Deacon Bobby Joe Adams, 57 years ago. To this union, five children were born: Robert Adams (stepson), Jeffery Adams (son), Rosalyn Adams Brady (daughter), Anthony Adams (son), Yolanda Adams (daughter), and Christopher Adams (son).

Angeline worked at Syroco and later went to Van Duyn Nursing home, where she retired after 35 plus years. Angeline enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed singing, breakfast at diners, traveling, shopping, watching cowboy westerns (John Wayne), and keeping her children, grands, and great grandchildren in line.

Angeline was an active member of True Vine Baptist Church for 48 plus years, where she served as the church clerk, choir member, Mother/Woman's Board, and Deaconess.

Aside from her parents, Angeline is predeceased by her brothers: Authur McKenzie, Jr. (d. 1967), and Alphonso McKenzie "CL" (d. 2001), and her son Jeffery Adams (d. 2009).

"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."
II Corinthians 5:8 KJV

Angeline is survived by her husband Bobby Joe Adams, sisters Geraldine Williams and Pauline Preston, and sister-in-law, Willie Ola McKenzie. Her children: Robert Adams, Rosalyn Adams Brady, Anthony Adams, Yolanda Adams, and Christopher Adams. Sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angeline was such a remarkable woman who could do no wrong. Perfectly perfect in our eyes. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, great grandmother, and also a friend who truly will be missed. Although she's no longer her physically, she will forever be with us.
