Michael Lynn Harrington (Deddy, Paw) of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 10, 1947 in Sheridan, the son of the late James Edgar and Mildred B. Rainbolt Harrington. He was raised in the Crossroads Community and was a graduate of Sheridan High School Class of 1966. He was drafted in 1966 and served in the United States Army for 1 year during Vietnam returning with a Purple Heart, and the Good Conduct Medal. Upon his return, he was a husband, father and supporter thru his 38 years as a bleach plant operator for International Paper Company.

He was a member of Sheridan Church of Christ, a lifetime member of Military Order of the Order of the Purple Heart and a lifetime member of the DAV and VFW.

He had a specialty for gardening, woodworking, building and creating. He also loved fishing, hunting and anything outdoors.

Mr. Harrington died on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 76.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Harrington, Jimmy Harrington and a sister, Sandra Green,

Survivors: two daughters, Michelle Harrington of Hudson, Florida, Carrie Bodiford (Chris) of Sheridan; honorary son, Chico (Norma) Dominguez; brothers, Roy Harrington, Larry Harrington, Tommy "Butch" Harrington all of Sheridan; sisters, Jenny Young of Killeen, Texas, Pat Paty of Sheridan; 6 grandchildren, Jaron (Bekah) Snyder, Megan (Christopher) Phillips, Jacie (Dakota) Hampton, Tristan (Elissa) Bodiford, Michaela Keathley and McKenzie Keathley; 5 great grandchildren, Jace (Boo) Snyder, Adalynn Hampton, Kylee Snyder, Cooper Hampton, Reece Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Fell officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers are Chris Bodiford, Jaron Snyder, Jace Snyder, Dakota Hampton, Tristan Bodiford, Chico Dominguez, Christopher Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 30, B17 Memorial, P.O. Box 672, Sheridan, AR 72150.
