Laura Clara Gonzales passed away at her home following a long illness. She was 61 years old. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a long-time member of Queen of Peace Rosary Club and a C.C.D. teacher for many years. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Prudencio; mother, Fidelia Leyba of Clearfield; sons, Chris Gonzales of Elko and Andy (Michelle)Gonzalez of Rocklin, CA; three daughters, Melinda (Kevin) Dietz of Elko, NV, MaryLynn (Randy) Mahon of Battle Mountain, NV and Jeanne Gonzales of Spring Creek, NV; nine grandchildren, Christy, Jessica, Ashley, Ross, Cassandra, Rachael, Marcus, Derek and Thomas; four sisters, Flora Morrison of Clearfield, Mary Velasquez of Salt Lake City, Isabel Ballard of Roy, UT and Jane Arambula of Clearfield, UT; four brothers, Santiago Leyba of Twin Falls, Joe Leyba of Caldwell, ID, Danny Leyba of Roy, Ut and Larry Leyba of Elko; and many nephews, Nieces and god-children. Laura was preceded in death by her father, Jose Dolores Leyba and brother, Louis Leyba, both of Clearfield, UT.
