Barry Lynn Humphries, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Salem, Ark., son of Nancy Sepulvado and the late Richard Lee Humphries, was born Aug. 29, 1961, in Jonesboro, Ark.
He died May 13, 2004, at his home in Mountain Home at the age of 42 years, 8 months and 14 days.
He was united in marriage to Cindy James Mace on Nov. 26, 2003, at Salem, Ark. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was employed by U-Haul for several years as well as Cingular Wireless. He was the Republican nominee for Baxter County Assessor. He was a member of the Salem United Mehodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy of Mountain Home; stepdaugher, Haley Mace of Mountain Home; his mother and stepfather -- Nancy and Johnnie Sepulvado of Norfork; two brothers -- Donald Alan Humphries and wife, Wanda, of Mountain Home, John Christopher Humphries and wife, Sylvia of Ripley, Tenn.; a sister Stephanie Mardel McFarland and husband, Tim, of Paraguld; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, his Yorkie, Gizmo; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his paaternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Humphries and his maternal grandparents, Owen and Ima Langston. Services were May 19 at the Salem United Methodist Church with burial in the Salem Cemetery Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
