Ronald Lee Hardin, 47, construction worker of 305 Ragland St., Leitchfield died November 9, 1983 at the Grayson County Hospital. / He was born July 23, 1936 in Edmonson County, the son of Alfred Aaron Hardin, Sr. and Laura Ellen Jaggers Hardin. He was the husband of Mary Helen Beville Hardin. Korean War Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 81. / Survivors other than his wife include two sons: Richard Lee Hardin of Oak Harbor, Wash., Ronald Ray Hardin of Leitchfield; three brothers: Alfred Hardin, Jr., of Jeffersonville, Ind., Jimmie Hardin of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and Herbert Hardin of Leitchfield; seven sisters: Hazel Winters of Panama City, Fla., Mary Clements of American Fork, Utah, Betty Hancock of Virginia Beach, Va., Ora Dean Hockenury of Bowling Green, Bytha Decker of Jeffersonville, Ind., Elizabeth Mavley (sic) of Memphis, Ind. and Laura Kay Belvly (sic) of Jeffersonville, Ind. Several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles also survive. / Funeral services were held November 11 at Sunny Point Baptist Church by the Rev. James Kerr with interment in the Sunny Point Cemetery.
