Virginia Malstrom Solomon

Virginia Malstrom Solomon 1910 ~ 2003  Virginia Malstrom Solomon, age 92, passed away peacefully August 6, 2003 in a local nursing home. Born September 19, 1910 to Edward Lorenzo and Clara Bateman Malstrom in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Lyman Cromer (later divorced). Virginia married C. Francis Solomon, Jr. August 15, 1959. He preceded her in death July 29, 1987. Virginia graduated from Murray High School and worked in a Salt Lake Stock Exchange brokerage. Virginia was the oldest of ten children and was their "Santa Claus, Easter Bunny" and benefactor. Virginia was loved by her family, friends and all who knew her. Survived by granddaughter Michelle Lund and two great-grandchildren, Macy and Sage; brother Allen (Dee) Malstrom; sisters Fern Bishop, Thelma Nielson, Mary Workman, Evelyn Nelson, and Elaine (Boyd) Ferguson. Preceded in death by brother Arthur Malstrom and sisters Vera and Elnora Malstrom. The family would like to thank the staff of Beehive Gardens, and the Hospice staff for their tender, loving care. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mausoleum, 2350 E. 1300 So.
