Cecelia Bell Semken, 95, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Friday, August 20, 2021 in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Downtown Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Cecelia was born June 1, 1926 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Arthur M. Semken and Charlotte Pashley Semken Davis. She attended the University of South Carolina and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC.

Cecelia is survived by her brother, Arthur M. Semken, Jr. (Betty) of Charleston, SC; two nieces: Vicky Semken Bartleson (Keith) of Charleston, SC and Susan Inabinet Dorton of Columbia, SC; two nephews: Arthur "Mac" Semken III of Charleston, SC and Mark Semken (Lucia) of Wilmington, NC; and seven grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Semken Inabinet; a brother, Johnny Semken; and two nephews: William B. Inabinet and Eric Scott Semken.
