Marilyn Joyce Carter, 64, of Grand Saline, passed away March 15, 2023, at her home.
She was born April 13, 1958, in Wills Point, to Myrlen & Peggy Daugherty Caldwell.
She has lived in Grand Saline for the last 16 years and retired as a truck driver. Marilyn enjoyed watching movies, collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, and yardwork, but especially loved her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James Carter.
Survivors include her brother, Haskell Caldwell of Fruitvale; two sisters, Shannon Alcalan and husband Pete of Fruitvale, and Kandy Crow of Fruitvale; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
I could not locate any burial information on James Carter. I did find where James A Carter and Marilyn were married in 2008 in Wood County, Texas.
