Pauleen R. Greer, 90, Peru, went to be with the Lord at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo.
She was born on February 27, 1918 in Peru to William and Minnie (Herrell) Hann. On March 14, 1936, she married Joseph O. Greer, who preceded her in death on June 11, 1992.
The lifelong Peru resident was retired from Miller's Merry Manor, and was a member of the First Brethren Church.
Pauleen is survived by four sons, George Greer and wife Joyce Ann, Logansport, Jerry Greer and wife Marcia, Kokomo, Dennis ‘Butch' Greer, and David Greer, both of Peru; five daughters, Colleen Lunceford, Sallyann Swihart and husband Jerry, Peggy Hall and husband Norwood, and Arwilda Bogt, each of Peru, and Joetta Martin and husband Timothy, Bradenton, Florida; 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Aside from her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard Greer; five brothers, Russell, Thurman, Bud, Herbert, and Patrick Hann; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with Pastor Lorrie Keck officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
