Bernice "Auntie Bee" Karnath, age 89, passed away at home in Camas on Saturday, February 26. She was born July 26, 1915 in Corvallis, OR and moved to Camas as a young girl. She graduated from Camas High School and married George Karnath and became a homemaker. She loved to garden, knit and crochet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1978.
She is survived by her niece, Susan Sampson of Washougal and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be Thursday, March 3 at 1pm at the Camas Cemetery. Straubs Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial donations can be sent to SW Hospice P.O. Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668.
