October of 1953 marked the beginning of Villa Missionary Baptist Church, organized by it founding Pastor, Clinton Hale. Dr. Hale led the church to many great accomplishments; leading many to Christ and founding the Baptist Academy in 1972.
Dr. Hale and his wife, Jean, were married 67 years ago, having met and married in Dyess, Arkansas and then moving to Indianapolis in 1941. Dr. Hale is survived by his wife, Allie Jean Hale of Indianapolis; seven children, Barbara Ramsey of Seminole, Florida; Sherri Ohnemus of Ventura, California; Kevin Hale of Jacksonville, Florida; David Hale of Indianapolis; Alan Hale of Indianapolis; Tom Hale of Indianapolis and Tim Hale of Ft. Myers, Florida; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, six sisters and two brothers.
Services were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home of Indianapolis, Indiana.
