JAMES H. DORRELL
James Harley Dorrell, 61 of Independence, died Friday, Feb. 7, 1992 at Independence Regional Health Center.
Mr. Dorrell was a lifelong area resident. He was a pipe fitter for 18 years, retiring in 1981, and was a member of the Local No. 533 Pipe Fitters Association. He was also a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Independence, the McDonald Masonic Lodge, the Ararat Shrine and the Order of the Eastern Star.
His survivors include his wife, Marguerite Ellen Dorrell of the home; two sons, James P. Dorrell of Lone Jack, Missouri, and Mike K. Dorrell of Independence; a daughter, Debra L. Leach; his mother, Margaret E. Dorrell; a brother, Michael B. Dorrell; and a sister, Joyce Huddleston, all of Independence; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Tuesday at the Carson Independence Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
