Wanda Lucille Allred, 84, of Idaho Falls, died February 11, 2003, at the Life Care Center. She was born April 14, 1918, at Salt Lake City, Utah, to Otto Hancock and Francis Brodington Hancock. The family moved to Leadore, Idaho where she grew up and attended high school.

She married Lester John Allred August 8, 1936 in Salmon, Idaho. They lived there for 21 years, where she was a homemaker and mother. In her earlier years she sold Avon, was a clerk at Stevens Drug in Salmon and worked for Medical Mart.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Sunday School teacher in the 40's. She was also a lifelong member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing Bridge, bowling, and was an accomplished oil painter.

She was preceded by her parents and her sister, Dion Lamey. Graveside Services held February 14, 2003, at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Bishop Dan Stout of the Idaho Falls LDS 10th Ward officiating.
