Benjamin's bio is published in COL Wm Stewart's history of Norfolk County which states Benjamin was educated at UVA and admitted to the bar Dec 1893 and began his practice in Norfolk. He married Martha Louisa Harrison in Wash, DC 11 Sep 1912.
