Mrs. Mattie Emma Price died Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 87. She was born February 14, 1914 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jessie and Ada Emaline Davis Cavin.

She married Sterling May Price in 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1971.

She was a tailor.

Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her parents, two children, Novella Rae and Wanita Ruth Price, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Bobby Lee Price of Graham, Texas, two daughters, Joann Tiger of Seminole and Scheri Dubbs of Flinton, Pennsylvania, one sister, Susie Ethel Powers of Abilene, Texas, twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David McDougal is set to officiate. Burial is to follow at Little
Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
