Addie Wilson Duffey, 66, of died October 29 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Mr. Duffey was born in Halifax County on December 7, 1935, the son of Addie F. Duffey and Julia Duffie Duffey and was married to Ruth Clay Duffey. He was a member of Clover United Methodist Church, was a lifetime member and past Chief of Clover Volunteer Fire Department, and was retired from R.O. Harrell. Graveside services for Mr. Duffey will be held today, November 1 at 2 p.m. at Clover Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Tim Duffey and his wife, Renee of Clover; one brother, Malcolm 'Billy' Duffey of Keysville; one granddaughter, Samantha Duffey; and one grandson, Ryan Duffey. Mr. Duffey was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jeffrey Kelly Duffey.
