Rebecca "Becky" Alsip, 48, died at 5:20 p.m. 13 September 2000 in her home. Her family includes her husband, William "Bill" Alsip; her mother, Barbara Canada Harbison of Karnak, two sons, Matthew Alsip and Daniel Alsip, both of Metropolis; one sister, Bea Hirtz of Chester; two brothers, James Harbison of Westland, Mich., and Tommy Harbison of Belleview; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Harbison and one brother. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Metropolis, Kentucky.
