Marilyn Audrey (Edwards) Schoesler entered into rest on February 27, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 24, 1931, in Ritzville, WA, to Ray Ellsworth and Gertrude (Morach) Edwards. She was raised in Ritzville and graduated from Ritzville High School in 1949. She married James Schoesler on October 8, 1950, in Ritzville. She lived on a wheat farm there for 22 years before moving to Spokane in 1972. She loved playing any card games, (especially bridge and pinochle), Scrabble, and Backgammon. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Randy Schoesler, Jo Ann Wagner (Craig), Don Schoesler (Mike Kloster), Gary Schoesler (Suzanne Arlt), Tom Schoesler (Melanie), and Mary Ann Whitney (Craig), nine grandchildren, Keri Copley, Christopher Wagner, Sarah Dryden, Emily Miller, Logan Schoesler, Raeann Schoesler, Margo Schoesler, Connor Whitney and Madison Whitney. She has 8 great-grandchildren and 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

At her request, there will be no service with a private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. An open house Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Park Retirement, 302 E Wedgewood, Spokane, WA, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 18th.

We are especially grateful to Royal Park Retirement Center where she lived for the last 4.5 years for their loving and devoted care and to Horizon Hospice for their compassionate, meticulous, and warmhearted devotion.

Memorial contributions may be made to her favorite charity, Ronald McDonald House, or to a charity of your choice. Holy Cross Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
