Cải Lương stage actor. He was best known for his roles in stage such as Thăng in "Đời Cô Lựu" and Dư in "Tiếng Hò Sông Hậu." At the age of 12, he began his acting career and debuted his first role in "Lấp Sông Gianh." In 1963, he was awarded a Thanh Tâm prize for his performance in "Người Anh Khác Mẹ." Throughout his career, he starred in theater productions such as "Tìm Lại Cuộc Đời," "Tâm Sự Ngọc Hân," "Xin Một Lần Yêu Nhau," "Tiếng Sóng Rạch Gầm," "Người Tình Trên Chiến Trận" and "Mùa Thu Trên Bạch Mã Sơn" with his colleagues such as Lệ Thủy, Minh Cảnh, Mỹ Châu, Minh Phụng, Minh Vương and Phượng Liên, to whom he was formerly married and with whom he had two children. Following the reunification of Vietnam, he continued his career and went on to star in the audio and video productions of Cải Lương plays. He was awarded "People's Artist" by the Vietnamese government.
