Fourth generation Floridian and daughter of Charles Henry and Mary Helen (Woods) Luke. After graduating from Orlando's William R. Boone HS in 1960, her family moved to Atlanta, GA. She attended South Georgia College and University of Georgia, Athens. Soon after, she began a career at Eastern Airlines. It was in Atlanta where she met Carter Clemons and they were married in 1964. During their marriage, they lived in Atlanta; Lookout Mountain, TN; Dallas, TX; Pawleys Island, SC; and Dawsonville, GA. She was a realtor for 10 years with Harry Norman and was involved in community groups including the Sandy Springs Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Carter Clemons; and son, Carter Clemons, Jr. Surviving are her two sons, Charlie (Erin) and David (Donna-Marie); grandchildren, Emmy, Paige, Caroline, and Dylan; sister, Nancy Luke Quinn; brother, Charles H(Linda) Luke III; nephews, Justin and Jared (Brittany) Luke; great nieces, Finlee and Saylor; and great nephew, Knox.
