In addition, he acted in theater and television, starring several telenovelas such as "El derecho de nacer," "Senda de gloria," and "Ángeles blancos." He won the TVyNovelas Award for Best First Actor three times, for the telenovelas "Imperio de cristal," "Esmeralda" and "De pocas, pocas pulgas," and for his career, he received the Ariel de Oro in 2007.
