Olympic Champion. As a field hockey player along with his team he represented the country of Pakistan at the 1968 and 1972 Olympics. At the 1968 Summer Olympics that were held in Mexico City, Mexico they managed to finish in 2nd place thus winning the silver medal for the event. At the 1972 Olympics that were held in Munich, West Germany while still representing Pakistan, the team bettered itself by finishing in 1st place winning the gold medal.
