Lexington, South Carolina - John Martin Areheart, 94, of Lexington, SC, passed away at home on March 6, 2023. He was born October 1, 1928 to Emma Corley and Chester Allen Areheart in Lexington, SC.
He attended Lexington High School, Class of 1950, before entering the US Army in 1946 and served in Germany.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Martha Ellen Lowman Areheart.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 8, at 1:00 PM at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 400 River Road, Columbia SC 29212.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church.
