EDWARDSBURG - Bonnie A. Bergerson, 84, of Edwardsburg, Michigan died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 1:09 p.m. at Silverbrook Manor in Niles, MI. She was born May 16, 1923, in Sidney, Indiana to Walter C. and Mary E. (Hodson) DeLaughter. She first married Orville Goodrich on March 29, 1943. He died January 13, 1976. She then married Russell E. Bergerson on December 24, 1985. Bonnie was a member of the First Church of God, Edwardsburg, Michigan. She was a piano teacher and an antique dealer. Bonnie is survived by husband, Russell Bergerson of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Son, David (Kathleen Pettijean) Goodrich of Mishawaka, Indiana; three Daughters, Cynthia (Lawrence R.) LaFollette of Indiana, Martha (Wayne) Short of Wichita, Kansas, Betty (Thomas) McKinney of South Bend, Indiana; two stepsons, James (Jackie) Bergerson of Niles, Michigan, Jerry (Linda) Bergerson of Elkhart, Indiana; seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 13 Step great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at the First Church of God, 68740 E Street, Edwardsburg, Michigan on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor John Lohr officiating. Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the church. There will be a meal following the service. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday February 26, 2008 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W.
